Almost - if not-daily we are all bombarded by messages from the world. If not conscious, it is easy to get caught up in a sensory overload. With an overwhelming amount of stimulation, urging us to strive, seek, hope, search, wish and attach ourselves to more and more things, we lose our sense of contentment.
Once we realize that it all here, right now, then it becomes clear that there is nothing to change, nowhere to go, nothing to find. Our senses are awakened to the beauty of the simple things in life. The complexity of trying to perform, attain some type of uniqueness, or recognition all fades away.
The value in the 'ordinary' becomes extraordinary and contentment and joy fill us with wholeness.Prana flows through us,as it does when the wind sways the branches of a tree,or as water gracefully flows through the stream.Sitting still, we do not try to protect ourselves from the trueness and color of life.As an intricate part of this incredible universe, just allowing things to unfold as they may, we are no longer this separate being who has to attempt to be in control and force things to turn out our way.
This is freedom.
